FAQ

1.        Do I have to pay for the designs as I download them after I pay for the year membership? No, the only cost you have is the cost of the membership.

2.       What formats do you have? I have the following formats:  HUS, PES, ART, JEF, XXX, EXP

3.       How do I unzip the downloaded folders?  Download the zipped folders to a location on your computer that you have for embroidery designs.  Right click on the zipped folder and select extract all, follow the next few windows and then you will have an unzipped folder in the same location with the same name with your designs in it.

4.       How do I get the designs to my machine? Depending upon what machine you have, some will take a floppy disk, some hook directly to your computer, some will take a usb stick, some machines require that you have a reader/writer box.  You can always email me for help.

5.      How do I tell the different sizes of designs in the folders?  I try to begin each 6x10 hoop size with “6” and then the 5x7 hoop starts with “5” and then the 4x4 inch hoop size design starts with “4”.

6.       How do I see pictures of all of your designs?  I don’t have all the pictures up yet.  I do plan on getting them all on the site.

7.      I have two different embroidery machines, do I need two memberships?  No,  you can download the designs and in each folder are several different formats.  I would keep all the formats on a hard drive or cds, because you never know when you might buy a different machine.

8.       Do you sell just sets of designs?  No, this is for a membership only.  It is about the cost of 2 sets, so you are actually getting a very good deal for your money.

9.      Do you offer refunds?  No, due to the electronic nature of the product.

10.       Memberships are not automatically renewed.  If you wish to renew, you will have to purchase the membership again at the time your membership expires.

11.        You will need an embroidery machine to stitch out my designs.

12.     Designs come in various sizes.  You may not be able to use every one of my designs, but I do suggest that you save the designs anyway.   We all dream of a bigger machine down the road!

13.      If you have more than one machine, you do not have to purchase the membership twice per year -- I have more than one format in every folder.

14.    Remember to stabilize your fabric when embroidering, this is the most common problem when stitching out designs.  I also recommend you play with your tension on your machine and learn what works the best.  When outlining designs, I have found that a very dark grey thread works much better than black thread.
